My journey in Paris

Hi! I am Elimkhan. I am an exchange student in RheinAhrCampus and I come from Baku, Azerbaijan.
 Before coming to Germany, traveling in Europe and especially to Paris was one of my biggest dreams. On my traveling list, Paris was in the first place. So, when I got a chance to travel I decided to go to Paris, one of the most visited cities in the world. And I understood the reason why this city attracts so many people. The word “incredible” would be the best word to describe the city if you want to describe it in just one word.

In Paris, my first destination was Eiffel tower. I took a lot of pictures of the tower and bought some Eiffel souvenirs for my friends, my family and myself. Then I went to Louvre museum to see one of the most popular things in the world like Mona Lisa, ancient Egyptian mummies etc. And the best thing about the museum was that it was free for students.

My next destination was Notre Dame Cathedral, the most visited place in Paris by tourists. When I learned this fact, I did not believe it but after visiting the cathedral, I saw its beauty and understood why almost every tourist in Paris goes to see Notre Dame Cathedral. By the way, the cathedral was free as well. At the end of the day, we had an amazing picnic right next to Eiffel tower and although, I was very tired, I was so much happy that I achieved my dream goal.
